Reza's Belated Birthday Celebration

Yesterday, we had belated birthday dinner with Reza at B.B.Q. City Korean Restaurant.



Later we walked to Passion Flower Dessert Cafe for dessert to satisfy our sweet-tooth.



Although we did not have enough belly room for 'extra' food after the dinner, BUT we wont resist when it came to sweets! LOL!!!yum yum~~~

B.U.S.Y.

官传道说BUSY这个字不可以乱用，它含义可大了。怎么说？

可怕吧？这一切都是撒坦打的如意算盘，它就是透过世俗事让人常常忙东忙西，忙到不可开交，导致人远离神，也牺牲了人与神的时间。

反省吧大家！人本来就只是过客，不属于这世界的。我们应该想念天国的事不是吗?

Puff pastry Egg Tarts

Today i'm free, so i grabbed the opportunity to do some baking . I spent the whole afternoon in the kitchen baking egg tarts. Making the pastry is the hardest part.

Saturday night

This is where we ended up on Saturday night- I'm Angus Steakhouse, located at Cockle Bay Wharft.

Sandra and i ordered 2 Giant pork ribs. I was shocked when the waiter placed it in front of me. I was like.."oh dear, this is HUGE, how i 'm gonna finish it!" This is definitely not a place for vegetarians!!!


Mable ordered Filet Mignon. Its portion just allright.

Elaine ordered the famous Angus Pie..Looks yummy,tasted yummy too!


Later we finished that perfect evening dinner with desserts at Lindt's Chocolat Cafe which is one my favourite cafe. We ordered 2 waffles. The waffles were served with a pot of melted lindt milk chocolate and a scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.

Mable ordered a Lindt Excellence tart.


These are my take-away goodies- Hazelnut and dark Chocolate Delices. They are my top favourite. I bought 2 of each. There are also many other flavours available: lemon, coffee, milk chocolate, champagne, strawberry and Pistachio, Well, there left only 2 delices in the box coz i already eaten 2..lol^^

It was so great to hang out with good friends and had a great dining outside. Oh dear~there goes my staying thin plans..i need to do more exercise and eat less this week!!!

A trip to Hobart

Have been abandoning my blog lately. Finally i 'm back with updates, updates and more updates:)

I went to Hobart, the capital city of Tasmania last Monday and spent a week there. Well Hobart is a beautiful island but it's a bit quiet though, good place to study but not-a-very-good place to 'rock and roll'..lol...i would say not much things to do there so, during the stay in Hobart, i spent most of the time stayed at my sister's room to watch HongKong TVB series. But overall, I'm enjoying the time spent there..i love spending time with my sisters. oh i start missing them now!!!

We went to Port Arthur for one day trip. 5 of us went together-Lawrence, Shogo, Wee, Fong & me. I rent a car and drove to Port Arthur. I'm so proud of myself because this is my 1st time driving in Australia.

We stopped in Eaglehawk on our way to Port Arthur. Tessellated Pavement is the main tourist attraction of Eaglehawk. The picture on the left above is taken when we were on the way walking down the hill to Tessellated Pavement. We walked for 10 minutes then reached the destination.

We spent about half an hour taking photos on Tessellated pavement with a cool sea breeze.

We also went to the famous Salamanca Market which only opens on Saturday. More than 300 stallholders sell Tasmanian products, range from fresh daily fruits and vege to fine Tasmanian arts & crafts, and an array of odds and ends. We strolled around the area and tried the most popular sausage buns, tempura mushrooms, and bought some dried fruit leather. They are all very nice!

Thanks to Stanley and Xin Hui brought us to Fish Frenzy Restaurant to have dinner. we ordered Fish and Chips and a chicken Caesars salad. Then we went to Wrest Point Casino in Hobart. We didn't go there to gamble, just grab some free drinks and walked around!!lol

Delayed flight

Royal Brunei Flight delays AGAIN~

Fong's Bandar Seri Begawan-Sydney flight now delayed by over an hour. Hell on earth is that poor me woke up so early in the morning plan to go airport to pick her up and yet they told me her flight is delayed!!! I wonder how darling sis spent her time while waiting meaninglessly at the waiting lounge in Brunei. ok i am supposed to be somehow thankful that the flight is not cancalled.

We are encouraged to be thankful, don't we?

Start baking again-Chicken Pie

No uni today, i woke up late, then went shopping at Westfield Eastgarden with Susie's mum(S is my housemate), bought a lot of stuffs(mostly food), tired me!!! Anyway my baking alter ego made me bake again! I baked chicken pie right away i got back home.

Just a simple plain looking pie..It tastes pretty good tho~Mind u, i'm 1st timer in making pie ok~i will try on pie decoration on next attempts. There is another same-sized pie I reserved for Chaifong...She will be arriving sydney tomorrow morning~woohoo~i'm soooooo excited!!!!!She's at Brunei airport now and i already sent her the photos of the pie..lol~crazy me!!

Plans on my easter holiday~

I am so excited i am going to meet my sisters-Chaiwee n Chaifong very soon.

Chaifong will fly to Sydney on wed and arrive around 10 in the morning. I need to pick her up at the airport and help her with the luggages. She will be spending 4 days with me in Sydney before we fly to Hobart, Tasmania and join Chaiwee on next Monday.

I had just booked my ticket online. I will be staying there for 1 week, back on the next Monday. hmm i haven't really plan or research on what to do in Tasmania, assuming Chaiwee will settle everything and plan many nice trips for me..Wuakaka!!!Hobart here i come~

settling in new living place

I'm back in Sydney...settling in new living place...currently live close to uni, easy going housemates, convenient transportation wherever u go etc.

Oh i miss my family,
I miss my friends,
I miss my church,
I miss my 'dudu',
I miss my car,
I miss my bed,
I miss mum's cooking, and no kidding i start missing Malaysian food^^

Well life still goes on...

闲人一个

这次回来常常都睡到自然醒.这几天就不一样了!爸妈陪妹妹出门到澳洲去了, 所以呢载送小妹上学的重任就交给我这做大姐的啦. 这倒没什么不好, 这样一来, 我可以早起, 更多时间让我做别的事. 慢着~想一想我好像也没什么事可以做...哈哈!!! 哎~~我真的是闲人一个呀^^

Coughing and sore throat are killing me!!!!

At some point yesterday, I developed a terrible sore throat and a mild cough. Guess it was because i ate some fried dough-stick "油炸鬼" in the morning.

I also losing my voice from sore throat. Last night i experienced the total loss of my voice. This morning i feel a BIT better. In fact, i still 'sound' not all right. If you want to hear how bad i sound, just ring me up so u can laugh at me^^Oh well, I guess I have to quickly get well...coughing and sore throat are killing me! help!!!!!i better drink more 枇杷膏. My sis said this is the best remedy for a sore throat and cough. Hope she's right!
